Dedicated to the preservation and celebration of Guatemala's rich culture, traditions, art, and culinary heritage. It emphasizes the deep-rooted symbolism embodied by Guatemala's national bird, the Quetzal, the iconic Tikal Mayan ruins, and the Guatemalan Flag.
September 15th marks Guatemala Independence Day, where Comité Guatemalteco Oklahoma celebrates the biggest Guatemalan Festival of the year in Oklahoma City with Festival Chapín.
